To keep it short & simple... this edit / series is AMAZING!!! It really gives the trilogy a fresh experience, and the way it's put together as a weekly show is genius. I can't even begin to imagine putting something like this together. If you like / love the trilogy you will def enjoy this "show" as well... A MUST SEE!

A very imaginative way of looking at BTTF, one of the best fanedits I've seen. Great use of flashbacks. This trilogy works very well as a TV show. Perfectly chosen starts/ends to each episode.

This was one of the first edits I watched, I saw it in August but just haven't gotten around to leaving a review until now.

A very fun edit to watch, love how the timeline was changed (or at least the order it was displayed). Quality was top notch, making it 16:9 instead of widescreen was a nice touch. Really makes the difference between a film v. TV vibe.

I think I noticed a few cuts just because I'm so familiar with the source material, but they weren't poorly done or anything so all the editing still gets a 10/10.

Highly recommend this edit!

"Great Scott! I remember this! This is how people used to watch TV. There would be a cliffhanger and you'd wait a week to find out what happened. And they had these teaser trailers right before and after the commercials, to entice you to stay tuned in the hope of glimpsing something new." "You mean there was no binge-watching? And you couldn't skip over the commercials? Heavy!" The Hill Valley Chronicles succeeds in transporting you through time, to your own youth when weekly episodes of star shows influenced the schedules of our daily lives. No re-runs, no pause button. We need to be home in time to find out what happens next to Marty and Doc! The concept of this edit is perfect: feel transported 30 years into your past while watching our heroes travel the same amount of time. For everyone old enough to have seen Back to the Future the first time around, this edit is a delightful double treat of time travel. The hardest part is to muster the patience to watch the series as you would have in the '80s: one episode a week and no fast-forward (I failed, I watched the series over two weeks). There are individual moments where this format feels repetitive, including the elaborate Previously and Next teasers. But that is partially my fault for not waiting a week before watching the next episode! Partially also because there are no commercial blocks between the teasers and the episodes. Visual and audio editing is excellent. Narrative editing stands out on an inspirational level. This has me re-examining my favorite movies with the thought "what can I do with this narrative?". Heartily recommended!

Woo hoo! I've only just seen two episodes, as I'm following the weekly posts, but I can already sum up that this is great! Credits look stunning and professional, previously and next are also very well done. The cliffhangers that ends these episodes work very well, and keeps you interested, especially if you're not on Netflix and binge watching everything. That montage of 1955 in the first episode really works, as well as looks great. Flashbacks for old Biff too, fits into the story with no major headaches. Edits are great, video quality looks fine even when watching on Vimeo stream. It definitely works and would recommend anyone that has a copy tune in!
