Brief Synopsis:
The Babylon 5 Project aims to focus on the arc stories of the TV show by creating a series of films. This creates a more streamlined rewatch of Babylon 5 for those who want to maximize the arc without having to watch the mostly stand-alone episodes with arc storylines in them.
Intention:
Babylon 5 has such a riveting arc based story that I've returned to watch time and time again but I'm not a big fan of the standalone episodes. However, many standalones do have some arc based storylines which are paid off later. I wanted to craft a new way to watch the series which creates an "all killer, no filler" B5 experience. Some films would just be three or so episodes strung together because of how heavily arc concentrated they are. Other films need to be built from the ground up from the pieces of many episodes which creates new viewing experiences and slightly changed narratives. The Babylon 5 Project also looks to exorcise some loose plot threads that don't pay off down the line.

Editing Details:
The Fall of Night wraps up the Narn-Centauri war. This is where the series really becomes arc based rather than episodic so there's a lot less jumping around and remixing episodes.
This movie ends on Matters of Honor which is the season 3 premiere. This gives me the chance to introduce Marcus earlier and ends the film on a bit more of an active note. Other than the complete removal of "Comes the Inquisitor" there aren't any huge differences.

Another fantastic edit, bringing us to the end of the 2nd season. Fantastic editing work as always, and I'm not sure if its the continual improvement of the editors ability to weave together the episodes, the general improvement of the quality of the material (the first season is kind of a mess) or, most likely, a healthy combination of both, but the episode structure was very low-key here, and rarely did I get that feeling of one episode ending or the next one beginning as I got several times in the first several.
