This was a great edit that really streamlined and improved these two films, especially Endgame. I thought the changes to Infinity War were modest and well done; however, I had fewer complaints about that film initially. The changes to Endgame were remarkable. This edit stripped away most of the humor that kept popping up to reduce the somberness of what was happening. The script clearly wanted the viewer to appreciate the gravity of the events; and yet, the film kept trying to make you laugh. This edit removes almost all of that stupid and needless tension.

This edit also really let you appreciate how emotionally broken Thor was, without forcing you to laugh at him constantly.

I think I'm moving the original films to backup and leaving this version on the Plex server.

In fact. that might be my only criticism; a couple of "Part 1" and "Part 2" title cards, or even an "Intermission" title card would allow you to clearly split the film up for viewing in more that one session. But that is a very trivial complaint.

Very, very well done!

There are a few edits out there that combine Infinity War and Endgame, but Macmilln's version is the best version. Fantastic editing throughout and smart choices on what to cut to streamline the movie. Typical Marvel humor is still retained, but many jokes and one liners are trimmed away. A few scenes cut I think would have been better off kept, like the support group scene, but the movie doesn't necessarily need them. Nothing integral was cut. I am so happy that you fixed the out of place girl power scene with spiderman at the end.

So the editing is top notch, but after watching, my personal opinion is that the movies are better off as two separate movies. The impact at the end of Infinity War is lessened when the story immediately continues. And since the movie is still over 4 hours I ended up watching it in two sittings anyways.

Perfect! This edit is perfect. I love the use of the post credit scenes, they were placed seamlessly. This works great as one movie.

They say that the sign of a good movie is that you don't notice how long it is, you are fully immersed. I happened to glance down at my video player's counter at one point, and was surprised to see that two and a half hours had already elapsed!

This extended cut/combination/conglomeration extravaganza clocks in at over four hours, but much of what would have slowed or interrupted the pacing has been stripped away. The edit is tight, and missing scenes are really only noticeable if you're very familiar with the original movies.

This version could also be titled Avengers Assemble: The De-Goofening of Thor. Thor can be kind of thick, and Chris Hemsworth has great comic timing, but some of the jokes in the original films about how dim he is went over the top into complete ridiculousness. The same can be said about a number of other cuts; the Marvel humor is still there, but without over-staying its welcome.

If you've got four-plus hours to spend and love the Avengers, this is the film for you! You won't notice the time...til you try to get up later ;)
