The deleted scenes added so much more depth to the Maximoff Twins and clarified some story points (like how the twins met Ultron in the church), enriching an already pretty good movie. The insertion of the scenes were also technically seamless, and the addition of the new sound effects and music cues were so natural they could have been part of the film all along.

10/10, this is the version of AoU that I'll be going back to. Highly recommended.

A masterful edit. Especially impressive are the integrated deleted scenes, which serve mostly to add more character moments and space out the incredibly heavy action scenes. The intro with the post credit scene from The Winter Soldier being used before the Marvel Fanfare is one of my favorite additions, as it sets up a really exciting opening act that doesn't feel like we were just thrown right into the middle of.
Admittedly, I do see why some of these scene's were cut, as there is a long portion of time where nothing happens outside of small dialogue scenes between characters, but I've come to really appreciate how much this movie sets up the back half of the Infinity Saga and acts as a turning point for the original Avengers team. This is easily the definitive version of Age of Ultron.

This edit was really well done. I especially enjoyed the scenes that gave us more of the Maximoffs, and the smaller character moments like Bruce going Hulk and the gang talking about Strucker's demise. The editing was done seamlessly, it's impossible to tell which scenes were additions based on audio or video alone. I thought it was clever how sounds were used from other sources (Arrow and Fallout 3), they were a welcome addition to the scenes they were used in. This is my preferred way to watch Age of Ultron.

This is the first fan edit I've ever watched, and it is 100% the definitive version of Age of Ultron. It fixes the theatrical version's pacing problems and adds context to the larger MCU. Specifically, Tony's connection to Klaue makes his redemption back in Iron Man that much better. The only problems I had with this were the Norn Cave scene's slightly janky lightning and Banner saying "Wakanda" instead of "Wakandan," which makes little sense in context (but those are just nitpicks).

Seamless addition of the maximum amount of material available for the film, plus a few different shots from trailer and so on that add even more subtle improvements. The twins benefit the most from the added material, but it also helps fix certain minor plot holes, like the added 'science bro' conversation helping to explain more about Ultron. The film was already great, an MCU gem that is truly underrated by many (my review is here: https://boxd.it/2Qk3XJ) but now it's even better. Unlike many newer MCU properties, this film feels like the new characters are developed and have meaning and purpose in the story, and each of the main characters has their moment to shine. Although the movie still would've been better if Whedon got to have Hawkeye sacrifice himself instead of Quicksilver, like he originally planned...but no fanedit can fix that, I think!
