Age of Ultron has always been the black sheep of the Avengers tetralogy and while this extended cut doesn't radically change the final result, at least it brings it closer to the movie that we were promised in the original trailers.
The new material is seamlessly blended into the finished product and it's done in such a professional manner.
Overall it's a marked improvement over the original theatrical version.

I'm doing an Infinity Saga marathon, just to remember the good old golden days from Marvel and I thought this would be a great opportunity to check out some fanedits!

Overall an excellent edit! I don't agree with all the new additions and I think that it made the film drag a little bit, but it was nice to see the new scenes. For instance, I could definitely live without the addition of the Winter Soldier's post credits scene in the beginning of this one. I mean, theoreticaly we have seen this in Winter Soldier, we don't need to see it again so soon.

All the cuts where seamless, as always. It was excellent work from a technical point.

I definitely recommend this edit, even though this will not replace the original for me. The extra 11 minutes are just too much. I got a bit bored somewhere after the middle of the movie. But even if you feel the same as me in the end, it deserves at least one view!

Thank you Bobson Dugnutt for all your hard work and thanks to anyone who read my review!

The deleted scenes added so much more depth to the Maximoff Twins and clarified some story points (like how the twins met Ultron in the church), enriching an already pretty good movie. The insertion of the scenes were also technically seamless, and the addition of the new sound effects and music cues were so natural they could have been part of the film all along.

10/10, this is the version of AoU that I'll be going back to. Highly recommended.

I still remember the first time watching Age of Ultron with my cousin, and I loved it, enjoying every single of it, then I came back watching this version which it looked WAY better than the theatrical one, really, just absolutely amazing, the visual, audio, video, all nice, the narrative looked amazing with it, I would definitely recommend this edit, it'll blow you away.

Top-notch extended edition editing from Bobson again here, lots of fleshed-out work in the editing and VFX front. A strange movie that feels like simultaneously the most like a Real Comic Book of any of the Marvel movies but also has to act as a commercial/connective tissue to more and bigger events. It's simultaneously cozy and frenetic which is probably part of the reason why Whedon bailed on the franchise after this (I think we know where his preferences lie). Bobson manages to make the cozy/character-based sections breathe a little bit better, which is especially welcome as they aren't just dumping grounds for tired jokes (looking at you, Guardians 2, et al).

Easily the best possible version of this mish-mash movie and one that is worth living on your MCU shelf.
