Masi has proved what differentiates the Directors/Editors from Fan-Editors: Creative Freedom!
Marc Webb was bugged for TASMs, as was Sam Raimi for Spiderman3 - diminishing the directors conceptions to fruition and hurting their vision. So many of the Corporate-owned creative-projects of such beloved characters suffer due to Studio-intervention for their 'bankability' which end up miserable despite good plans.

Thanks Masi for your passion in salvaging the Amazingness of TASM. I absolutely loved the treatment to my favourite live-action Spiderman series.
The 'Untold' is the real highlight of this edition. It'll remain a favourite forever.

I LOVED this edit. Might be my new go to way to watch this movie. The Amazing Spider-Man films are my favorite Spidey films in general, and this edit fixed a problem I had with the marketing after seeing it in theaters. Finally we have him searching for his parents, like they said he would, and it's beautifully done.

P.S. stay for the credits....

It was Sensational, had alot of fun with it. Will definitely rewatch. The added scenes were integrated so well. It felt like a new experience of an old favorite. Well done. Cheers Mate, keep up the good work!

This is an amazing edit, pun intended! Working with some flawed movies, the editor created the best version of this movie I can imagine. All of the characters motivations seemed a lot more clear, and it really frees up the sequel to focus on the newly introduced characters. This is easily my favorite edit that I've seen, and it is how I choose to remember these movies!

Let's hope the studio decides it's time for us to see the 3rd film.

This is the perfect version of this movie in my opinion. Moving the parent subplot to entirely to this movie works so well and it strengthens Peter's relationship with his father so much and it finally gives him closure to close that chapter and then actually be ready to help Harry in the sequel.

Everything here just works so unbelievably well and Masirimso17 integrated the content here really well, it's not that noticeable if you aren't already intimately familiar with the movies or just paying too much attention at the characters faces because obviously the sequel was filmed a year or so after the first movie so they look a little older. A tiny detail thay personally annoyed me was how Peter's room's posters changed because we go back to the original room at the end after having seen the room from the sequel for most of the movie but obviously that's not on the creator, they did the best with the footage they had to work with and they expertly cut out whatever didn't fit into this narrative. It's honestly incredibly well made and it was the first time that it felt like this movie truly reached its true potential and this is the closest we'll get to a Webb cut tbh. This is just fantastic stuff. Practically perfect and they did everything they could. Personally, I love how Peter gets closure at the end and the reveal of the car gives the breakup time to breathe so it's not so sudden when they get back together at the end. Although it is a damn shame that they had to cut Aunt May's speech after the breakup. I've always liked that but I get why it wouldn't fit into here.

Seriously, this is basically the best version of this movie.
