I always look forward to editor TMBTM work, his imagative editing and use of FX are most excellent, and in some cases the endings are a total surpise.

Anyway moving on to the edit…..The clean up and use of extra scenes and edit cuts are seamless and I had no sound issues all very clear. Did i enjoy yes … the editing colouring change worked well because the original is so dark looking and slow, this has been tranformed in to a clearer viewing with a faster pace. Ok you can tell that some scenes are from elsewhere but it works. And the ending works also.

Like many, I disliked the original. Was enjoying up until the final act, until the Ripley rip.
Great edit here. Audio was solid and well focused. Nice incorporation of video materials from AVP.
Thank you also for the Making Of. Very helpful to friends who are shooting their own videos.
I passed this film on to others.

This will almost replace the original theatrical version for me, which I did not like too much, though it had its strengths.

The extreme silly stuff is gone, the story is still intact and has a neat twist at the end, though I also could have lived with he original - but TMBTM usually tries to surprise us with creativity, and again he succeeds, IMHO.

Though I thoroughly enjoyed this fan edit, I did not get how the station soldier joined the space pirates group; maybe I was too tired … and unfortunately they still can hold their breath like a full 5 minutes in the underwater scene ...
