Airplane! Long Haul Edition integrates all the deleted and extended scenes from the TV Cut, using a 16mm scan of an original print of the rare cut.
Eight new and extended scenes have been restored and reintegrated into the film, adding three minutes of new gags, jokes and laughs.

Intention:
Upon finding that williarob had gotten ahold of an original print of the film, and that there were a few deleted scenes included, I wanted to make a longer cut of the film because why not? It's interesting to say the least, a few things here and there.
Additional Notes:
Since the new material is from a 16mm scan, it's not the best and doesn't match up to the Blu-Ray too well, but I've done a lot of work to make it look better in After Effects.

This edit won't make you like the film any more, if you're not a fan already you won't be now. It's more of the same really! some shots are a little bit longer and may not seem to give any purpose but they just help to flesh out the characters more and offer more jokes!
The deleted scenes are of a lesser quality but nothing to be done about that, if you're here then you likely want to see the scenes in the movie regardless!

Someone get this man a beer and put it on my tab! You, sir, have taken an already hilarious movie and made it even funnier. The edits are seamless and the quality cannot be understated. For real, if someone told me this was an official product, I'd have believed it. Bravo, sir, your effort shines through and the final product shows all the blood, sweat, and tears you shed over this. Thanks for making this iconic movie even better. If you've somehow never watched Airplane!...what are you doing with your life? It's one of the most iconic and amazing comedy movies that will never happen again. If you only watch one version of Airplane, watch Bob'Dug''s edit, you will not be disappointed.

Well, this one has a special place in my heart since we had just got back from L.A. where we thought the parking announcement was the funniest thing ever....and 6 months later Airplane was released in theatres and my dad and I just wept with laughter that someone else thought it was funny too!
Now, thanks to the efforts of Bob'Dug' we get a few more minutes of "dated humour" (NOT)....
...GLORIOUS since these days there are SOOOO many things that would get you in trouble. "Surely you can't be serious"?....Yes I am....If you wanted more, it's here...shame that's all we have but this is now in the Amray case on a disc lablled "WATCH THIS VERSION" period!
This romp just got a tad more range...

Such a blast to see jokes that I wasn't sure I didn't hallucinate watching the movie on TBS in the 90s restored, after my hopes of an official release of those scenes were constantly dashed.
Now everyone can enjoy the oodles of overwrought melodrama with the "adult kids," the water cooler scene and, of course, "Hi, Jack!"
This is the only way I'll watch this classic farce going forward. It's an entirely improved Airplane!... altogether!
